2012 firar Joseph Bowie över trettio år med sitt band DEFUNKT. Och nu är de tillbaka i sin mest dynamiska formation på länge! DEFUNKT nEU SOUL presenterar en rad europeiska musiker som verkligen lyfter under Bowies vingar. Jazz, funk, punk, energi!
DEFUNKT bildades 1978 i New York och återfanns på samma scener som The Clash, James Brown, Prince och Maceo Parker. I början av 80-talet var de del av hiphopens vagga och då som nu är budskapet: att ge ljus åt människor i mörker!
