What’s Good – Live: L.A.X

This Saturday, What’s Good brings the heat as usual with a LIVE performance & DJ-set by none other than L.A.X, one of Nigeria’s most distinctive voices in Afrobeats, and supported by rising UK DJ Yagurlmega.


L.A.X rose to prominence after linking with Wizkid on the 2013 smash hit Caro, and has since become a staple of the African music scene with a string of melodic and rhythm-driven bangers like Sempe, Go Low, and Pepe featuring Davido. Known for his smooth vocals and genre-bending fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and dancehall, L.A.X continues to innovate with every release, captivating fans across continents with both his sound and stage presence.


Guest support is Yagurlmega, a London-based DJ known for her high-energy sets blending amapiano, dancehall, and Afrobeats. With performances at Notting Hill Carnival and viral success on TikTok, she’s quickly emerging as one to watch on the UK club scene.

Local favorites Anne, Zemi & BR3W will be bringing the vibes all night — expect a mix of Afro-Caribbean heat and global sounds at Nefertiti’s cozy Summer Garden and intimate stage area. It’s gonna be a proper summer night out.
